Hi!

Yes, you can.

But , you do not need to. The only real reason why you would create
[client_fltk] options header is to  : 

* have help file on F1 key
* to share the same history file with mysql monitor program
* to change a location of options file for mysqlgui


In any case, just fill up all entries in Options dialogue and Save
them. 

That is all you have to do with mysqlgui ...
