A tool problem we have not yet fixed - no intention.
I am not sure whether I can look into this today.

need to compile my own version since (annoyingly), there doesn't seem to 
be a binary rpm version that works with glibc 2.2.5.


Just for curiosity: Which platform / distribution / ... is this? I 
thought our glibc2.2 packages should work?

Is there any reason why there isn't a source rpm for mysql 4.1.15? I 
need to compile my own version since (annoyingly), there doesn't seem to 
be a binary rpm version that works with glibc 2.2.5.


Anyone out there created a source rpm for mysql?

Why cant you just get the source? whats the difference?
