[mythtv-users] Woohoo! R5A30 fixed my Mythbox's biggest problem!

I rejoined this list because I was experiencing problems with my PVR-150 not changing channels. This was after rebuilding my trust Shuttle SK41G with a new 300 GB drive, and adding the PVR-150 to go along with the existing PVR-350. 
My initial attempts with the PVR-150 did not go well with R5A26. The video was displaying perfectly, but I couldn't change channels on the PVR-150. The PVR-350 still worked perfectly though. I just disabled the PVR-150 and figured I'd get back to it some day. 
I downloaded R5A30 last night, and just upgraded my box. I enabled the PVR-150 and held my breath. Works like a charm! Dual sources are working fine now, as is PIP, and all the other dual tuner goodies that go along with it.

Under same but different - my USB wireless NIC doesn't come up at boot time on the previous version. I wait for the sytem to boot, pull the NIC, wait a few seconds, reinsert it, and everything works fine. 
No, it's not how it should work, but I don't reboot too often so it's something I'm living with for now. Might get your keyboard working for now. Regards, - Dave-- Dave Bush

It seemed to be a temporary problem. I went out to dinner after getting frustrated with this, and by the time I got home and re-ran mythfilldatabase it worked fine, which was very good - I had some movies on TCM that I wanted to record last night. :)
Now on to figure out why the PVR-350 is working fine, but the PVR-150 won't change channels. Anyone else tackled this before so I don't have to reinvent the wheel?-- Dave Bush

[mythtv-users] mythfilldatabase not working

Hey folks,  Long time MythTV user, but just built a nice new box today. Same old Shuttle XPC SK41G that I've used for a while now, but I upgraded to a 300 GB drive and finally installed a PVR-150 that I've had kicking around as a second tuner to go with the existing PVR-350.
