just keep coming and filling up the ol' inbox :-)

if your using the rpm suggested by wilsonet.com then upgrading them
(all of them make sure to get libmyth) should fix it. It did for me.
If your compiling yourself, then just patch the file and
recompile/reinstall

[mythtv-users] slightly off topic universial remote

2005-04-07 Thread David Blackwell
First off if this has been discussed sorry, I looked, I didn't see it.

I want to get a good universal learning remote. I want to teach it my
pvr-350 remote, my dvd remote, etc... I have seen some that claim to
be learing but are either really bad or really really expensive. I
was wondering if anyone had a good recomendation for a universial
remote.

[mythtv-users] Question about the timezone offset option (not about actuall error)

2005-04-06 Thread David Blackwell
First off, don't flame me I am not asking about how to fix the
daylight savings time problem. I am just wondering.. does the offset
option do anything for the datadirect users? I have read a lot of
emails of people saying they kept changing it and nothing happened. I
am just wondering if its there for backwards compatability with older
versions or for non datadirect users.
