I just rebuilt my system with Fedora Core 3 according to Jarod's
instructions. I have a PVR-350 card, and, while I can get sound and
video, I cannot change channels. I first noticed this problem when I
ran the following two commands simultaneously:
# /usr/lib/ivtv/ptune-ui.pl &
# mplayer -vo xv /dev/video0
Changing channels through ptune-ui had no effect on the image. The
same thing happened when I tried changing channels with
mythtvfrontend. (It's stuck on the Asian channel.)
Here are my settings from mythtvsetup:
Capture Card Setup
- Card type: MPEG-2 Encoder (PVR-250, PVR-350)
- Default input: Tuner 0
- All other settings in their default positions
Imput connections:
- [MPEG : /dev/video0] (Tuner 0) -> cable
I defined cable under Video sources.
