Re: [mythtv-users] No sound in some recordings
I updated ivtv to version 0.3.6z. But no change, some recordings are still without sound. I increased the time in the setup, until mythtv waits for a good signal, and also lowered the treshold for good signal. Also no change... It is hard to tell if it is a problem of ivtv or mythtv. Any suggestions ? Juergen I never figured out why. On 7/10/05, Juergen Sachs [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Hello, Larry K., did you find a reason for this ? [mythtv-users] problems using tv_grab_de
Hi List, I have updated my mythtv setup today from CVS, because I have lots of problems (more related to my system update I think) Now it runs fine, Except mythfilldatabse When I try to run mythfilldatabase from bash I get the followin message: - 2005-06-23 00:43:18.217 New DB connection, total: 2 Grabbing XMLTV data using tv_grab_de is not verified as working. Refreshing Tomorrow's data - XMLTV for it own works well, so I think this is a message from mythfilldatabase. I found no note about that some grabbers are disabled, or did I miss something ? Hope someone could help me, I only have 2 days of EPG left :-( Thanks for your help Juergen ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users

[mythtv-users] remote control a mythtv box
Hi group, I want to controll my mythtv box remotly over ethernet. Is there a protocoll to controll a mythtv box remotly using a tcp or udp connection from an other system. My mythtv box is placed in an other room, and I want to controll it from my controll system already present in the living room. The only possible connection is an existing ethernet connection. Maybe there is a way to simulate keypresses ? Or even better a remote controll protocoll to say play the currently selected item, go up in the menu and so on. Hope someone here has a good tip for me. [mythtv-users] how to setup my channels using pvr350
Hi group, I have an working mythtv v0.17 setup and very happy with it. But I do not have a setup for all tv channels. I did a manualy scan of all channels and insert them. But this does not work to well. also I did not found all channels I want (But they did exists, I could watch them on my tv). So here is my question: Is there an application that scans all tv channels and prints out a list of all found signals and theyre channel ids ?
