[mythtv-users] cutting returns wrong position
Hi there, After cutting a recording it seems to return the wrong position. For an example video the first cut in database is: 0-5856 In mythtv it seems to do the cut in the right position. with mplayer i figured out, that the same position mythtv wrote for it 5856 to db should be ~5756 (+- 5) For this video i figured out for the last cut point a difference of about 800. Problem is, if i try to cut with nuvexport or transcode it does not cut in the right positions, so it cuts video out, or leaves commercials in it. any sugestions? Searched for what to record and used following settings: - Find and record one showing of this title. - Recording Profile:Default - Recording Group: Default - Check for duplicates in: All Recordings - Duplicate Check method: Subtitle and Description After this in 'Scheduled Recordings' following entries were added: Wed May 4, 2005 L Charmed: Bezaubernde Phoebe 898 - ProSieben Wed May 4, 2005 (08:15 PM) 1 hr 5 mins Thu May 5, 2005 1 Charmed: Bezaubernde Phoebe 898 - ProSieben Thu May 5, 2005 (12:50 AM) 55 mins Sat May 7, 2005 E Charmed: Schwarz wie der Teufel 898 - ProSieben Sat May 7, 2005 (03:15 PM) 1 hr 10 mins As you see the episode on Thu. is recorded. this is correct. [mythtv-users] mythfrontend hangs sometimes
Hi there, The mythfrontend hangs sometimes. The X takes the whole CPU doing something. Sometimes it happenes with watching TV, Videos, listening to Music, or looking at the Systemmonitor. Never tried if it hangs watching videos with mplayer, because i love my remote and i can not predict when it happens next time. In the stderr or stdout of mythfrontend i have not seen anything special. The backend works fine even if the frontend hangs. Hi, Thought it was not existent nuvexport, but i figured out, that i can transcode files, where the commercials were not marked. Hi List, After initial mythfilldatabase and downloading icons, there are no channel icons in EPG. Path in channel.icon is correct. Gif's are readable for mythtv user. What is going wrong? [mythtv-users] channel scan in setup (cvs) does not find all channels
Hi, - television with szap and xine working fine. - television with mythtv (found channels) working too. The scan application in the setup does a channel scan, but does not find every channel. Scanning the satellite Astra it finds only some Italian and Spanish Channels. Scanning with the linuxtv application scan does fine. I am using a Pinnacle PCTV Sat DVB-s card.
