[mythtv-users] MSI 6351 on board IR
Has any one been able to get the on board IR on this board to work? it is a barebone from microstar using MSI-6351 VER: 5 What is the setting in the bios I need to use? It does not even show that the system see any IR, I have been told by MSIUSA that it works on windows but I dont use this OS, I cant test it. Would like to use this as a diskless remote with no tuner, just to play recorded shows in the bedroom. [mythtv-users] Knoppmyth 5.22 can not play DVD
New installation of knoppmyth 5.22
I can play CD ok but no dvd, try using mplayer and xine
I have replaced the DVD player and the DVD itself with a known good device
from a working FC1 install and I get the same thing.
Any ideas is appreciated.
I get many errors in dmesg like below where the sector number changes for
every message

[mythtv-users] Black frame border around picture
I have a 1 inch black frame on everything, using knoppmyth, Radeon ATI 700 with its driver. Using the normal video output to plug into a sony 52 inch HD display, I generated the XF86Config-4 using fglrxconfig. What can I do to extend the border to the edge of the tv screen? [mythtv-users] Editing Manual recording time/channel
Using Knoppmyth. How can I edit a manual recording time and channel without deleting and recreating. Any one could give me some ideas how to get the baster to change channels on a Dish HD 811 Echostar, I have followed the instructions here: http://losdos.dyndns.org:8080/public/mythtv-info/MythTV_DISH_IR_LED_TX_via_Modified_LIRC.html All seemd to install ok, no errors but it does not change anything. I know my home made blaster works on a DTV box out of ttyS0.
