[mythtv-users] System hang with MythTV 0.18.1 on LV667T
I have posted this problem to the Unichrome list and am posting it here in case anyone has encountered the same problem and has a solution or recommendation. I have a Fedora (FC3) with Ivor's UnichromePro drivers. I have been successful in using MPlayer to playout all MPEG1 and MPEG2 files (including 1080i HD). I compiled MythTV with the Via VLD XvMC flag enabled. When I launch MythTV frontend, and try to play a captured program, (content captured successfully with an HD3000 card), my system hangs. Same thing with trying to watch live TV's. Preliminary information seems to suggest a problem in the XvMC setup, but I can't pinpoint the problem any further. (Don't know how to do it) Has anyone seen somehting similiar? If so, how to get past it? Thanks! [mythtv-users] Changing channels in WatchTV does not rollover
I configured 6 digital channels and when I am changing channels in one direction, down or up, it stops at the last and first channel respectively. Is this behaviour normal? I have also noticed that the channel change times are fairly long (I'm using the pcHDTV3000 card) around 3-5 seconds and sometimes a previously working channel fails to lock and the only way to reset is to get out of WatchTV mode and then back in again. It looks to be an MPEG2 decoder issue but I am not sure where exactly to begin looking to pinpoint the problem. Any suggestions? Thanks. Re: [mythtv-users] Xorg.conf for EPIA / PAL / 16x9
There is a pretty good writeup on this if you are using the Unichrome drivers at: http://www.kingcot.eclipse.co.uk/unichrome/unichromeTvOut.html TarunJames Pattinson [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Hi AllHas anyone got a nice Xorg.conf working for PAL and 16x9 on an Epia board? I'm using minimyth. I have found one at http://linpvr.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=352 but it doesn't seem to overscan so I get a black border around everything. Also the colours aren't too good but that may just be me using composite when I've been used to RGB on sky+.Cheers!James___mythtv-users mailing listmythtv-users@mythtv.orghttp://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
Re: [mythtv-users] Epia 10K advice
Paul, have you tested with an ATSC SD digital inut signal for Live TV on your EPIA 10K? If so, what configuration did you use? Thanks!Paul Bender [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: James Pattinson wrote: Paul Bender wrote: I suggest MiniMyth . It is self contained Linux distribution for running MythTV on diskless VIA EPIA boards. Hi Paul Thanks for the advice. I had seen that before, but was put off by the fact that it's MythTV 0.15.1 and the rest of my setup is at 0.18.1. Not sure what that actually means from a functionality point of view though!Actually, the main page is out-of-date. There is a MythTV 0.18.1 version at . You can find more information about it on my homepage and at the LinPVR.org forums .___mythtv-users mailing listmythtv-users@mythtv.orghttp://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
[mythtv-users] LiveTV playouts on CRT hangs system
I configured a pcHDTV 3000 into MythTV using the DVB drivers then configured MythTV and configured a couple of digital channels (SD mode). mythbackend correct detects the incoming transport stream. As soon as I launch mythfrontend and select LiveTV, the entire system freezes. A hard reset was the only way to get the system back. My configuration is below: EPIA M1 with Fedora Core 3, Unichrome drivers in Xorg 6.8.2 and ViaXvMC-accelerated drivers. Xine with accelerated output works without any problems, mplayer also works though with Xv for tuning into this live ATSC-SD channel. I configured ATSC output for this specific channel. Any suggestions on how to debug further or perhaps solve this is much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
