The video gets fed straight to the decoder, so it never gets any preprocessing done. So I'm pretty sure that regardless of your deinterlacing settings, the picture quality will be the same. ~Lou pgpr0PvRDuWvd.pgp Description: PGP signature ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users

I don't actually have a pvr-350, but I'm pretty sure you don't. Chances are you are connecting this to the S-VIDEO input of a televsion. TVs like interlaced sources :) -Khanh -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jim Reith Sent: Thursday, July 14, 2005 7:46 PM To: mythtv-users@mythtv.org Subject: [mythtv-users] Deinterlace? Re: [mythtv-users] Deinterlace?
There is no point in enabling de-interlacing when using the PVR-350 TV-out, that I have found, back when I was using it. Now that I'm using a GeForce 5200FX, I enable the deinterlacer. -- Joe --- Jim Reith [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I have a PVR-350 and I'm using tv-out with it.
