So how do you get mythtv/dvd mencoder and xvid working? when recording/ripping a show I end up with files 1.5 gig. I second that. XviD is better (or atleast as good + open source, which makes it better). But again it is a matter of one's own choice. Isaac It is also not free and a linux version does not currently exist. Atleast not that I could see.
