It only applied cleanly on 0.7.0pre7 for me. I got failures on
0.7.0pre8 and 0.7.0.

That is possiable... I looked on the lirc site again, and didn't see
it so I think you're right

I recently pulled cvs and applied the USB-UIRT patch /mostly/
successfully.

I didn't care enough to examine the reject[s], but I'm assuming that
USB-UIRT isn't in cvs based on that, or I'd have had more patch
catastrophe than I did.

I presume that means no patch needed for lirc 0.7.0...

I know that you need to patch lirc-0.7.0pre7
I am successfully using the patch found at http://www.gemair.com/~neveld/
I do not see the device listed in the lirc-0.7.0 release, so I don't
believe it has been rolled into the release.

Perhaps there is confusion between UIRT2 (serial) and USB-UIRT? Or has
the USB-UIRT support been rolled into CVS?

[mythtv-users] LIRC with the USB-UIRT and ATrpms

2004-12-01 Thread charlesrandle
Hi All,

I have a few questions regarding the captioned:

1) Does LIRC now have support for the USB-UIRT ?
2) Specifically, do the LIRC rpms provided by ATrpms have this support ?
3) If not does anyone know where to get a recent patch that enables full
USB-UIRT functionality with LIRC whether using ATrpms or actual LIRC source ?

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards,
Charles
