Some useful info from the Apple site: (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/tutorials/creatingvideo.html): * By following the steps in this tutorial, QuickTime 7 Pro will automatically create an .m4v file containing H.264 video and AAC audio that is optimized for iPod. iPod can play the following video formats: * H.264 video File formats: .m4v, .mp4 and .mov Video: Up to 768 Kbps, 320 x 240 pixels, 30 frames per second, Baseline Profile up to Level 1.3 Audio: AAC-LC up to 160 Kbps, 48 KHz, stereo audio * MPEG-4 video File formats: .m4v, .mp4 and .mov Video: Up to 2.5 Mbps, 480 x 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile Audio: AAC-LC up to 160 Kbps, 48 KHz, stereo audio Sounds pretty interesting. Surely this is just another nuvexport profile??? So what your asking for is integration of nuvexport into myth, which is User Jobs??? Unless I misunderstand :\ On 10/13/05, [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Just announced today (Wed 10/12/2005), the video iPod: >http://www.apple.com/ipod/ipod.html > > 150 hours of video (Video capacity is based on 4 minutes per H.264 > 750-Kbps video combined with 128-Kbps audio.) on a 2.5" screen. > > > So, in light of this new announcement, I'm throwing the gauntlet down. > I will pledge $10 towards a pot to reward someone/some team that > makes it possible to export mythtv recordings to the new video ipod in > 3 months time. [mythtv-users] MythTV and the new video iPod -- how long do we have to wait? :)
Just announced today (Wed 10/12/2005), the video iPod: http://www.apple.com/ipod/ipod.html 150 hours of video (Video capacity is based on 4 minutes per H.264 750-Kbps video combined with 128-Kbps audio.) on a 2.5" screen. So, in light of this new announcement, I'm throwing the gauntlet down. I will pledge $10 towards a pot to reward someone/some team that makes it possible to export mythtv recordings to the new video ipod in 3 months time. (Let's say 1/31/2006). That way when I get one of these for Christmas, my MythTV will be all ready for it. :) What do the rest of you think? mark ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
