We already know that Isaac doesn't like this list being used for Gmail related stuff like invites etc. There's a discussion group at http://groups-beta.google.com/group/Gmail-Help-Discussion and FAQs at http://gmail.google.com/support/?ctx=gmail&rand=0.5096541496347385 Regards, Phill ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users

Indeed. Just another way Gmail rocks. OT, but does anyone know how to make gmail NOT save emails of people I reply to, and/or how to make it always reply to the list and not just an inidividual? For the later, I just clean up the to myself...but... the former, I can't find any option for. http://gmail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=6588&topic=40 Q: I expected to find a message in my inbox, but it's not there. Is something wrong? A: Probably not. When you send a message to any mailing list you subscribe to, Gmail automatically skips your inbox and archives the message to save you time and prevent clutter. The message will appear in your inbox if someone responds to it or if there is an error delivering the message. If you'd like to view your message, you can find it in 'Sent Mail' or 'All Mail.' ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users

Phil I thought that at first too. I think it is a gmail thing, the way they file your reply in the discussion before you receive it. I could be wrong though. Isaac - just FYI, I think there is a bug in the mailing list where it doesn't send you copies of your own postings. Even if you tell it to in the preferences page.
