Xv and OpenGL aren't alternatives here. OpenGL is providing sync when outputting through Xv. You can turn that off and still use Xv. (There's an option to turn it off in the settings GUI in 0.18.1.) Hamish -- Hamish Moffatt VK3SB <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
