Hi guys

Can anyone help me with removing all the DVB channel info (channels,
transports...) from the database, so I can start over with scanning
for channels. Scanning now takes a long time because MythTV is trying
to scan all transports (most of them do not contain channels).

As mythtv-setup starts, it asks if you want to clear the channel info,
just say yes to this question.

Yes, but that would mean I also lose the settings for my analog
channels and I do not want that to happen.
Must be another way to accomplish this?

Go to Advanced under the channel editor, and remove each transport
in turn. That should remove the associated channels. (try it on one
first though, there was a bug where it didn't do this but I can't
remember when it got fixed )

Thanks. I ll try that.
However I want to scan for channels again, afterwards. Now, I have
experienced that when I enter all the transports mannually it works
like a charm. But auto scan seems to find the wrong transports. Am I
doing something wrong?

  DVB-C in the Netherlands.

Not using a twinham card are you by any chance ? I believe the drivers
are buggy and return the wrong frequency. I can't really help further
as I'm on dvb-t, which has it's own set of issues :).

No, using an old siemens dvb-c card. Works allright except for the
scanning issues. I think it is a driver issue then?
