[Nagios-users] nagios replication
I am running Nagios 2.5 on suse Linux machine and I am replicating nagios files and database using rsync, mysql replication. Those databases are replicated to a remote site “Nagios server B” monitoring the same servers however when I disable a notification for a host or service on Nagios server A” this does not get replicated to Nagios server B” When “Disable notification for this service” is click on or host notification is disabled by clicking “Disable notification for this host” via web, what file or database get writing too? Basically, when a service or host notification is disabled via web what get modify? I would like to replicate the file or database, so that when a service or hosts notification is disabled, this gets replicated to the remote site. ___ Yahoo! Answers - Got a question? Re: [Nagios-users] nsclient, is it still an acceptable method to monitor nt
Hi NRPE NT seems to me the best way to monitor windows services. since there are alot of plug ins available at nagiosexchange and around the web. it support windows NT/2000/2003/vista. also 32 and 64 bit. And the biggest advantage it consume little resources compare to the other solutions NRPE NT http://www.nagiosexchange.org/Windows.49.0.html?&tx_netnagext_pi1[p_view]=64 Some basic plugins http://www.nagiosexchange.org/Windows_NRPE.66.0.html?&tx_netnagext_pi1[p_view]=62 Hope it helped Moshe Sharon http://www.centerity.com - This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
