Hello guys, im having trouble with the check_mysql when i change the version of the mysql 4.1.21 to 5.0.x, the plugin start to fail. [Nagios-users] HTTP WARNING: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden
Hello guys, in some servers im receiving this status HTTP WARNING: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden , and a warning obviusly.. but why nagios detect forbidden the http, if via web i can access perfectly to the URL checked.. [Nagios-users] check_url
Hello im having troubles using the check_url; via terminal (with root and
nagios users)
works fine but via nagios i always im receiving the same error.
UNKNOWN: /usr/bin/wget --output-document=tmp_html --no-check-certificate -S
returns no
result!
I think everything is good config, here are mys .cfg
services.cfg
define service{
use generic-service ; Name of
service
host_name haiduk.x.com
..
service_description URL wap.x.com
check_command
check_url!http://mywebpage.com/index.html
}
commands.cfg
define command{
command_name check_url
command_line$USER1$/check_url $ARG1$
}
Any tip or help for someone whois using it, will be very helpfully.

[Nagios-users] SMS problem
Hello again guys.. im having troubles sending notification via SMS, i have
everything! a
URL where im allow to send many messages. The thing i want to do is what a
service is
down nagios execute a perl script where the url is inside, but nagios dont do
it.
the comand is:

}
i tried with and without the $USER1$ and the logs dont show anything:

[Nagios-users] Can't locate utils.pm
Hello ev1, everytime when i untar a plugin and i want to check it, i receive the error : Can't locate utils.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/nagios/libexec /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi But the file (utils.pm) is in /usr/lib/nagios/libexec and others plugin what needs it are working properly now, but the notify_sms still with troubles when i execute it. [Nagios-users] NRPE
Hello everyone, im trying to install NRPE in a cuople of hosts i was reading some howto but i still with doubts, in them it says i needs have the plugin, like check_nrpe, in the client too to but where?.. i have not install nagios in the clients. Hello everyone the problem was fixed; I had config nagios without auth, and in the configc.cfg the option use_authentication was enable. i put it in 0 and nagios works. Hello again guys, im trying to install a new nagios but, i cant fix this errors when i try to see the host details; Whoops! Error: Could not read object configuration data! 1. Verify configuration options using the -v command-line option to check for errors. 2. Check the Nagios log file for messages relating to startup or status data errors. 3. Make sure you've compiled the main program and the CGIs to use the same object data storage options (i.e. default text file or template-based file). The nagios is working i can see the procces doing a ps -aux, and doing the /usr/local/nagios/bin/nagios -v /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg dont look error neither "Things look okay - No serious problems were detected during the pre-flight check" What could be wrong ?
