[Nagios-users] Host notifications sent but not wanted

2006-02-13 Thread Radkon
I upgraded tonagios 2.0b4 and now whenever I get a service alert I also receive a host up alert. Even if i disable host notifications I still get a host up alert along with the service notification.

Anyone know how to turn off this feature :-). Thank you very much.

Conrad

Thanks for the response, this was my foolishness! I had host-notify-by-email set on the service_notifications for some reason.

I think 2.0b4 is rather old. The real 2.0 is out for some time now.But having run 2.0b4 for quite a while I am puzzled as I have never seenthis. So can you show an example of your host and service definition(s)?
