Well, that's another possible point of failure. Not getting
notifications about an internet connection not being available _because_
the internet connection isn't available sucks :P

This seems to be similiar a (if not the same) issue as described in
Gentoo Bug #157832, which I've fixed yesterday in
=net-analyzer/nagios-core-2.9. Older nagios-core Ebuilds checked for GD
being compiled with jpeg support, but didn't check for png, too.
