[Nagios-users] Init error
Hello, I am having an error show up when I do a status on the nagios The error is as follows: ** /etc/rc.d/init.d/nagios status No lock file found in /usr/local/nagios/var/nagios.lock ** Thanks - Using Tomcat but need to do more? Need to support web services, security? Mine shows: drwxr-xr-x 13 root root 4096 Jul 5 16:28 /var/run/ -rw-r--r--1 root root6 Jul 5 16:28 /var/run/nagios.pid While the processes all end up running as nagios, the pid file gets written by root. - Using Tomcat but need to do more? Does the file exist there? Did you configure the file to be somewhere else?
