Re: [Nagios-users] nrpe configuration on solaris.
Steve, Thanks a million. It fixed it. I gave -n at both server and client end and its working perfectly now. So, your inetd definition uses -n to disable SSL, and you must also give the -n option to the check_nrpe to disable SSL there as well. Steve If I use -t with check_nrpe and increase the time it gives me- Could not complete ssl handshake. I am sunning nrpe under inetd and have disabled ssl. [Nagios-users] nrpe configuration on solaris.
Hi, I have installed and configured nrpe on a solaris client. It has been working successfully for me. But recently I tried to configure it the same way on two more solaris machines and it is giving me the following error- Check_nrpe:socket timeout after 10 seconds. If I use -t with check_nrpe and increase the time it gives me- Could not complete ssl handshake. I am sunning nrpe under inetd and have disabled ssl. Kindly help. lalita Notice: This email message, together with any attachments, may contain information of BEA Systems, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliated entities, that may be confidential, proprietary, copyrighted and/or legally privileged, and is intended solely for the use of the individual or entity named in this message.
