Re: [Nagios-users] nsclient++ nsca and scripts
Thank you very much. It's quite simple how you layed it out. I appreciate that. NSClient++ + External Scripts = Awesome. Hi, I think we dont have to specify the commands in the NSCA file . as it is the passive checks that are reported on the NSCA server end. Are you sure that you want to add it in NSCA cfg file? Re: [Nagios-users] nsclient++ nsca and scripts
Hi, First you should enable NRPEListener.dll so that NRPE is listen on port 5666 or some ohter port you have been defined. Then you need the section: [NRPE Handlers] and a command alias like: command[check_acronis_image]=c:\windows\system32\cscript.exe //nologo c:\Programme\NSClient++\scripts\check_acronis_image_multiple.vbs Restart NSClient++ service. Then you can use on nagios site the command: /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe -H $HOSTNAME -c check_acronis_image Hope this help?! best regards Thomas Borger Curtis LaMasters [EMAIL PROTECTED] schrieb am 26.11.2008 05:20:31: I've been searching around plenty for the last 5-6 hours and have not found anything yet. Re: [Nagios-users] nsclient++ nsca and scripts
Sorry, you're right! I have confused NSCA with NRPE! ;-) But also in NSCA Section in NSC.ini you can define you own commands! Perhaps Curtis has NSCAAgent.dll still commented out?!
