Google's Geo IP Solution

2013-06-26 Thread Jeff Harper
Hello,

If anyone on the list is from Google and involved with their GeoIP service,
could you please contact me off list?  I've been trying to get one IP address
modified from Canada to the US.  Every other main GeoIP has the location
correctly, except Google.  I've filled out their correction form multiple times
over the last 4 months, but perhaps the form isn't reaching them?

Thanks very much!

TelePacific a good choice?

2013-02-19 Thread Jeff Harper
Hiya,

We're looking at TelePacific as a possible solution for some of our transit
needs. If you have an honest experience with them, positive or negative, I'd
like to hear from you.

Simply email me off line with your experiences, thanks!

Perhaps, but Facebook being down is usually a "Layer 8" issue. (Layer 8 being
the Human involved ;)

The irony is that the short burst of productivity was spent troubleshooting if
Facebook was up or down.

Yeah, I left out the actual prefix-list contents, in hindsight I should
have added it, so here it is. Also, a typo in the network statement,
lol.

network 1.1.1.0 mask 255.255.0.0

ip prefix-list NETZ description The networks we advertise via BGP
ip prefix-list NETZ seq 10 permit 1.1.1.0/16
ip prefix-list NETZ seq 1000 deny 0.0.0.0/0 le 32
