BGP hijack: 64.68.207.0/24 from as133955
as133955 is broadcasting bogus BGP announcement for our netblock 64.68.207.0/24 It's in China, and we're trying to contact as24155 but they are also in China and we're just emailing their whois record address. If you're nearby and in a position to block/dampen that might be helpful. Thx - mark -- Mark Jeftovic <mar...@easydns.com> Founder & CEO, easyDNS Technologies Inc. http://www.easyDNS.com
DNSResolvers.com will be shutdown
As per our post: http://blog.easydns.org/2013/06/27/dnsresolvers-open-resolvers-will-be-shut-down/ The DNSResolvers.com free and open public resolvers will be shut down, imminently (like tonight, if we get DDoS-ed against them again). We'll keep them up for awhile if we can so everybody can migrate off, but if you or somebody you care about is using them, please make other arrangements as fast as possible. thankyouverymuch - mark -- Mark Jeftovic mar...@easydns.com Founder CEO, easyDNS Technologies Inc. +1-(416)-535-8672 ext 225 Read my blog: http://markable.com
looking for a clue at gc.ca
(No, this isn't a setup for a joke.) We need to find a clueful P.O.C at the Government of Canada NOC, more precisely, a DNS administrator for the parl.gc.ca zone or the 82.197.192.in-addr.arpa netblock. Thx. - mark -- Mark Jeftovic mar...@easydns.com Founder CEO, easyDNS Technologies Inc. +1-(416)-535-8672 ext 225 Read my blog: http://markable.com
blackholes.us RBL is defunct and wildcarded
This is somewhat of a stability issue as I'm seeing a lot of remote mailservers affected. The blackholes.us series of RBLs (geotargetted IP space by country) is no more, hasn't been for awhile. It has now been wildcarded and answers positive to all queries. http://www.circleid.com/posts/20091013_unwelcome_afterlife_for_a_long_dead_blacklist/ Sorry if this is known, I checked the archives and didn't see anything. -mark -- Mark Jeftovic mar...@easydns.com / Jabber: mar...@easysip.com Founder / President, easyDNS Technologies Inc. Comcast discarding email with shortened URLs?
I just got a report that comcast is simply discarding all email containing URLs shortened with our easyURL shortening service (easyURL[dot]net). No bounce, no refusal to accept, just accepting and then discarding. Anybody else confirm this with other URL shortening services or are we just the lucky ones? Is there a comcast postmaster on list we can talk to about this? -mark -- Mark Jeftovic [EMAIL PROTECTED] Founder / President, easyDNS Technologies Inc.
