UK, NL, & Asia LTE Providers for Opengear Console Servers
Anyone have recommendations for providers who I can use for LTE on Opengear console servers in the UK, Netherlands, and Singapore? 1 provider for all 3 countries would be great but I'll take what I can get. Oddly when talking to Opengear they don't really have any great advice. We use Verizon SIM cards in the US with static IPs. Thanks, Ryan

Whats going on at Cogent
Anyone else seen terrible support and high turnover of sales/account people at Cogent the last few months? Is there something going on over there internally? I'm sure some people will say Cogent has always been crap but in the past their account reps and support were pretty good. It seems to have gone downhill the last 12 months really bad. Regards, Ryan

Re: DDoS - CoD?
Sadly I see these all the time, and Valve's SRCDS is vulnerable as well (AFAIK any Q3 engine game is too). There are unofficial patches for source but I wish Valve and others would fix it for good. Normally I see these types of attacks in the 1-2Gbps range but we recently have seen them in the 5-8Gbps and even 10-20Gbps range. That is about 5000-15000 servers each sending 1-2Mbps. http://wiki.alliedmods.net/SRCDS_Hardening#A2S_INFO_Spam The issue was partially resolved with Team Fortress 2 servers. Thanks for the number, but their NOC was unable to help me. They referred me back to their Abuse Mailbox and abuse e-mail addresses (blockedbyearthl...@abuse.earthlink.net, ab...@abuse.earthlink.net). They were unable to provide any alternative number or e-mail address. I ended up calling their corporate office (404.815.0770) and spoke to an operator who confirmed with senior tech's that the abuse team their checks the mailbox but they apparently are not in the office and work from home. Senior tech support tells me the mail server is not blocked even though I get blocked messages and escalating it further would not do anything as they show it as not blocked. Tech support uses the same procedure as the mail administrator does which is to e-mail blockedbyearthlink@ address with the subject BLOCKED: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (replace with the ip) and if it is blocked they will unblock you.
