[Neo4j] Real Time Graph Databases

Is there a way to build graph databases that are dynamic. I would like to 
go beyond writing cypher for creating nodes and relations to having that 
done for me like in relational databases?
As a database developer, i only develop the schema once and keeps pouring 
in. I would like to do the same for graph databases.
