Re: [neonixie-l] Re: World's largest "Nixie" clock?

2019-06-25 Thread Dan Harboe Burer
I live in Denmark; I remember as a kid, seeing the clock for the first time
back in the 1970's.
During the 1990's the station was renovated and the clock temporarily
dismantled. I was keeping an eye on that it came back - if not I would have
gotten in touch with DSB to save it :)

Take a close look at the Copenhagen clock; you can see how the digits are
formed with a mix of straight and curved segments.
It's much more aesthetic than a 7-segment display, and much simpler than a
nixie tube with 10 cathodes.

The final case will be of a scale pinball machine head.

I’ll make the circuit boards available on www.pinballclock.com when I get time.

2019-06-25 Thread martin martin
Hi All,
Of course I ordered one also. I wrote him back and here's the info:

here is the setting method:
1. This product has only two keys, one is SEL (selection key) and also the
power key, and one is the "+" key.
2. Press and hold the “+” button until the 2 digits are flashing (for
example, if it is flashing in 2019), release the + button, then it has
entered the setting state, press the “+” button to adjust
Year, short press the SEL button to select the item to be adjusted in the
following table order. Go to the last item and continue to press the SEL
button to exit the setup state, or any
When you press and hold the power button to turn off the power, it will
exit the setting state directly.
Pressing the SEL button while setting will display the following adjustment
items in order:
No. Item Display value
1 year setting
2. February setting
3 Date setting
4 weeks setting
5 hours setting
6 minutes setting
7 seconds setting
8 LED backlight setting
Pressing the “SEL” button in the non-set state will switch the three
display modes in turn, which are display time, display year, month, day,
and second.
Press and hold the power (SEL) button to turn off the phone and press the
button for a short time.
