I've never seen one like this before it has pins like a dekatron on them
and the digits are unique the 4 we've seen one like before but look at the
7.

[neonixie-l] Re: B7971 alpha-numeric display tube tester and projects

2020-09-15 Thread Bill Notfaded
I've done them a few ways... MOD-SIX OFC! Also the smartsockets... you can
basically make the length as long as you want to. Smart sockets are really
neat because they have the entire alphabet built right in with effects
too! Here's basic video of me testing one:

Re: [neonixie-l] A local Nixie Site!

2020-09-15 Thread Bill Notfaded
I like how you dressed it up! How's the case going on the dekatron clock?
I'm sure it's a little challenging figuring out how to frame the dekatrons
in a way that looks good. Do you assemble your own cases like this? Do
you have the parts made to spec then assemble yourself? I know there are
different ways to assemble cases like this. I need to get a new one made
for my second generation MOD-SIX. I've been trying to decide whether
trying to assemble one myself from the cut parts or to have the company put
it together for me.

Best Regards,

Bill
