Re: [neonixie-l] Free Virtual 3D Nixie Clock w/mouse control, zoom as website

2022-08-02 Thread gregebert
I'm very impressed with the realtime rendering. The cathodes are "stacked"
like a real nixie, and at an angle, they disappear behind adjacent nixies.
Reflective flat surfaces (anodes) are accurately modeled; even tube pins
will disappear, then reappear as the clock is rotated. I'm not 100% sure
about the reflections on the curved glass surface; those would be tricky to
render. Well done !!

Anyone have a stash of these they're looking to off-load?

It's on the list of crazy crap to try with my ever-growing junk pile! Most
important is that last night I got the mini split ceiling cassette hung in
the shop and running. Hoping 1 ton is enough in this TX heat.

Z568M / Z5680M or Dalibor tubes way nicer and cheaper.

My guess $1600 for the lot.

Yes, I think I bought a hundred of them some time back, and some of other

seller included some extras for breakage, and a few did have the filler nip
snapped off. I set those aside for experimenting once I get my high vacuum
