[neonixie-l] FS: B7971 tested fine quality available

2023-10-02 Thread 'Jan Wuesten' via neonixie-l
Hello everybody, this is Jan from Askjanfirst.com in Germany.

The "oldtimers" may remeber me, we sell electronics, mainly tube-related
for about 30 years now and I am on this list from on it's beginnings on the
old listserver.

I keep any commercial threads here to a minimum but you may be interested
that we can offer B7971, tested, flawless and documented. Not just single
pieces, enough for your winter FLW-project.

See

https://www.die-wuestens.de/hello.htm for details, pricing and also a pdf
on which we show which effort we took measuring them.

Stay brave everybody

Re: FS Re: [neonixie-l] P12 Phosphor CRT

2020-02-12 Thread 'Jan Wuesten' via neonixie-l
Hello,

sorry, out of habit:

https://www.die-wuestens.de is the main domain, it has an SSL certificate.
The askjanfirst.com domain is the "anglophile" one, without SSL as I have
to book those individually. But as you can not insert anything at my site
anyway both work, secure or not

We are all oldfashioned, if you wish to buy from us it still works
oldschool via email.

Have a nice day

Re: [neonixie-l] Welcome & please introduce yourself!

2018-10-04 Thread 'Jan Wuesten' via neonixie-l
Hello List,

good idea to start such threads from time to time.

Since this list moved to google I am pretty much off-list because I hardly
use my gmail account.

Anyway, this is me: Jan Wuesten, owner of askjanfirst.com

We are suppliers of tubes, also nixies, and have helped a lot of projects
starting in the past like the Karlssonclock, the Jeff Thomas Nixiesat etc.

Nixies are getting rarer now but we still hace some.
Not to many, but we do also have many more projects in the pipieline.

For october an equaliser kit using EM800 Telefunken tubes is in the
pipeline and we also supply all you need to build a scopeclock.

All the best

Jan

[neonixie-l] greetings, I am still alive

2018-08-28 Thread 'Jan Wuesten' via neonixie-l
Hello List,

those long enough on the list surely still know me and my little company,
askjanfirst.com

Just a short note, I am still alive, also reading this group BUT I can not
post on it via my normal email account, only when I log into gmail...

At old Yahoolist this was no problem but google insists...

Now, at this occasion I am logged in at gmail for another task and thought
I will send the list a short greeting.

BTW: I do have orange phosphor CRTs for sale, in case any of you plans a
scopeclock

www.askjanfirst.com/r5.htm

Still plenty of tubes, also nixies, we are very busy with inventory, a
never ending job...

Well, whereever you are, I wish you a safe and pleasant day

[neonixie-l] yellow / amber phosphor CRT tubes in stock

2017-11-27 Thread 'Jan Wuesten' via neonixie-l
Hi there, this is Jan from Askjanfirst.

The elder members of this group may remember me, since the jump to
googlegroups I was pretty silent for the simple reason that I am no longer
able to post to this list via my normal email program, I must log into
gmail to do so...

Well, we love tubes and so a hobby became a profession.

At www.askjanfirst.com/r5.htm I put newly aquired amber phosphor CRT tubes
that work as scopeclocks online.

Have a look if you want.

Feel free to email me directly if you have any questions
