Re: MIB load order
I guess it automatically done .. the net-snmp $MIBDIRS has .index file and it updated automatically when you restarts snmp services. As per my experience MIB loading order is important, I was facing issues in TRAP OID translation due to incorrect MIB orders On Tue, Dec 29, 2009 at 3:59 PM, Wojciech Dudys wrote: > Do I need to care about MIBs load order? > > Regards, > > > -- > This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community > Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support > A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and > easy > Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers > http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev > ___ > Net-snmp-users mailing list > Net-snmp-users@lists.sourceforge.net > Please see the following page to unsubscribe or change other options: > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/net-snmp-users > -- Rakesh P. It loads it based on the contents of the MIBS environment variable, or by the default list if no variable is set. The default list can be set using the configure script. You can also change it in your snmp.conf file (see the snmp.conf manual page). The order can be changed, though if dependencies are needed that affects loading order. -- Wes Hardaker Sparta --- This SF.Net email is sponsored by BEA Weblogic Workshop FREE Java Enterprise J2EE developer tools!
