I put this line in my snmptrapd.conf:
format2 %t %B %P %V,% %v\n
...which I thought would insert the varbind list with comma
separators, but it gags:
[SNIP]
host snmptrapd -C -c snmptrapd.conf -f -Lo 0.0.0.0:10161
% %v\n: No such file or directory
2010-07-16 11:26:43 NET-SNMP version 5.1.2 Started.
[/SNIP]
If I just put:
format2 %t %B %P %v
...snmptrapd starts without error, but never prints out the
notifications.
Enlightenment, please?
Bah! Why was I using v5.1.2?! That was the winning question. The
5.5. snmptrapd behaves as expected - correctly.
