I am still seeing this sluggishness during NetBeans startup and shutdown.
I have seen this even on my Linux box but that is a very old machine with
an i3 processor. Can some one please check on windows and Linux to confirm
if they are seeing this behaviour? Most probably it is localized to my
environment only.

Issues from Bugzilla mentioned in Synergy Test specs

In synergy, we have issue ids mentioned from the old NetBeans Bugzilla.
Some of those issues are still reproducible. Do I need to create a Apache
JIra ticket with the same details if I encounter said issue?

we test against, Java Se 8 or 9?

Secondly, where from do I download a development build? Is the same place
