iword/i another few words
when I put words in italics, using iword/i another word then NS does not put in sufficient clear space between word and another word in fact it reads: wordanother word -- Cheers Roger Hubble bubble, Hoyle and trouble.

Bug: 'Search Text' does not work in framed sites.
On 04 Sep, Roger Darlington [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I have already tried that: it doesn't work in; Wild Flowers http://wildflowerfinder.org.uk/ Did it work for you?? If you search for text using the magnifying glass with the question mark over it in the page header immediately left of the URL, then it doesn't matter where you click on this page, it cannot find any text : try it entering just the letter 'a' If, however you search using the f4 method of opening the same search box, then it immediately finds text as it should, depending upon which area of the page is clicked in. This seems to account for the different experiences reported. Out of memory error
Hello All I am trying to log into Freeuk web mail and I get the error 'Netsurf is running out of memory. Please free some memory and try again'. Free memory on Risc PC is 142424K with Netsurf on 3712k. It is dev. version 03 Sep 2008 22:15 r5321. I have not had a problem with earlier versions so I assume this 'bug' has crept in. -- Geoff

Yes, it crept in sometime after 5th August, possibly with the new parser. I have reported the bug (no. 2057643). Please add your comments to this bug report on the tracker. I am having to keep the 5th August build in order to access some web sites, including cPanel for my own web sites. -- _ |_|. _ Richard Porter http://www.minijem.plus.com/ |\_||_mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

I suggest thats raised as in a bug report too. BTW in FF3 on the EEE 701 with its 800 pixel wide screen, you see the first 3 frames, but there is no horizontal scrollbar for the entire window. The only way to get the 4th frame is to scale the window down two steps (Ctrl - in FF3). Cheers ---Dave -- __ David J. Ruck Phone: +44- (0)7974 108301 Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] __

There is nothing to suggest to the user that this action is required. It might be thought (as I did) the rest of the page was blank due to bad HTML or Javascript. As much of the frame set that can be displayed in the window width should be displayed, then it should be pretty obvious to the user that the window needs to be wider to see the remaining undisplayed content.
