Re: cross compiling NM for arm
I'm using NM 0.8.1.997 on armv7a (OMAP3), built using openembedded's framework: Binary Packages: http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/repo/?pkgname=networkmanager Recipe: http://cgit.openembedded.org/cgit.cgi/openembedded/tree/recipes/networkmanager?h=master Openembedded generic howto: http://docs.openembedded.org/usermanual/usermanual.html -John On Tue, Nov 9, 2010 at 2:24 AM, Tanmay Mande wrote: > Hello, > > I am trying to cross compile NM for arm. > I didn't find any documentation on this. nm-applet or alternative for small resolutions?
Hi All, I'm not sure if this is also the place for networkmanager-gnome related inquiries, but here goes. The device I'm working with supports a tiny 320x240 touchscreen display running matchbox-wm/desktop. Is anyone aware of a still-maintained frontend for networkmanager/modem-manager that is more suitable for such a small resolution? I'm willing to patch nm-applet and/or collaborate on projects for this purpose. I'm even willing to abandon matchbox in favor of a window-manager with a decent small-resolution UI for networkmanager. I've abandoned connman/ofono recently in favor of NM due to the poor UI support for the connman/ofono frontend in the community/distro we use (openembedded). Thanks a lot! -John ______ John Connolly Software Developer Bug Labs 598 Broadway, 4th Floor New York, NY 10012-3206 646.723.9258 jconnolly @ irc.freenode.net/#buglabs ___ networkmanager-list mailing list networkmanager-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/networkmanager-list
