Hi, I'm trying to disable beeping on errors in console. I can make it work locally by putting the following in user's $HOME/.inputrc bell-style visual How to make it work globally, ie. for each user I add to the system without the need to create the local file? Apparently, adding this line to /etc/inputrc has no effect. The same holds true for key bindings and other features! Any feedback will be appreciated, Tomasz
