Re: [newbie] wheel mouse
Okay. Here's where I am. I've read through the readme and tried to make the required changes. But whenever I switched from the PS/2 to IMPS/2 in the XFConfig and restarted KDE my mouse stops working properly (moving and clicking on its own). I don't know if I forgot to do something, did something wrong or what. Any Ideas? -- Nic [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Usually I've been opening a terminal window and typing 'imwheel -k' and then everything works OK. I noticed the 'Autostart' folder and tried to put a link in there for the imwheel, but when I restarted X , I received an error message stating there was no executable for the program---where did I go wrong? [newbie] Problem when booting up Linux on my laptop
Hello, I've installed Linux Mandrake on my Acer Extensa 502DX laptop and whenever my computer boots up, it crashes whenever it arrives at the Advanged Power Management section of the kernel, I've been able to use a kernel which doesn't have apm selected and it works fine.. Has anybody ever had this problem before? PS; I have enabled Advanced Power management in my BIOS and still same problem. Jero
