[newbie] DNS server?
Okay, I need a simple explanation of DNS. I have a linux box that I want to setup and put online. I want to own a domain name. I want to do this using MediaOne Cable Modem. This requires DNS updates as MediaOne changed your IP at random times. I have been experimenting with Mandrake 6.1 and want to soon start my own internet server (offering shell and web space). What are my options for doing this?
