Re: [newbie] OptimalJ a Java IDE
All it said was that the license failed to install even though it never asked me for a license file. I have a log file that says: (Feb 4, 2003 7:52:58 AM), Setup.product.install, com.installshield.product.service.product.PureJavaProductServiceImpl$DiskSpaceCheck, wrn, Checking required disk space requires file service native support. Just got done talking to Compuware, the company that makes OptimalJ, and they said it won't install on Mandrake, but it would install on Red Hat. I thought that if it ran on Red Hat it would run on Mandrake. Anyone know why OptimalJ won't install? The person I talked to didn't know why it wouldn't install. He was just passing the message on to me.
