[newbie] Linux in Active directory

Hello Dennis, Anthony and All other friends,
Any one of you had any experience to connect linux machine in microsoft
active directory domain. (ie linux as active directory client). Any one of
you has any idea about kerb5.conf. It is Kerbros configuration file. I have
installed Samba. But I am unable to fine kinit, to communicate and verify my
domain.

continue with install or something to that
  effect,
if you do not have the forth CD. It may be a bug
  but
should not affect your install. In reality a
  person
only needs CD1 and CD2 to get up and running.

[newbie] kinit

I am unable find kinit. When I run kinit command. system gives error,
command not found. Any one please advise me how can I install this command.
Or which package needs to be installed in order to get this command.

It is kinit. It basically this command is used to initialize a Kerbros
protocol. something to do with network. But I am unable to find it.

 If it's really kinit you're looking for, it's part of the java-runtime
 package - or are you meaning kdeinit?

Yes I got the system up and running by cancelling CD4. But that is just
basic configuration. Now that I want to install more packaged, system asks
me for CD4. Like it installed Open Office by default. But now I want to
install KOffice. I know it is in these CDs but still it asks for 4th CD. I
believe this is a bug. I am a new in this linux world. I want opinion of you
people.
