I'm trying to install v. 8.1 on my new laptop, but I consistently encounter a file writing problem.
The install goes fine up until the part where it asks about the mouse. The mouse works, but the install gives an error saying it can't write a config file.
Subsequent points in the install give the same error.
Any ideas?
