[newbie] Basic Questions
Hello, i have 2 basic questions: 1. Where can i find a reference meaning for the directories var, usr, dev. I need to know what files are usually are in each so i can get a better understanding on how linux uses this file structure. 2. When installing applications like firefox where do you usually install them. Basically what i am asking is where is the Program Files directory on a linux system Thanks!
