[newbie] How to mount tape-drive?
Hello and thanks for reading this mail. I'm a newbie and have problems finding my Colorado 250MB tape drive. It's a floppy connected drive. I don't know what to do to get Mandrake 6.0 find it. I've used insmod zftape and ftape, but then I'm stuck. Kdat says there is no tape in the drive? [newbie] Suspend BSD compression!
Hello to everyone! I'm a newbie in linux but like it very much. I do have a problem I'd like to get some help to solve. When I contact my isp to collect the newslist I keep getting about 2-300 kB then the download get stalled and nothing more happens. I then shut down the mailprg (in Netscape) and can surfe and do download of programms with no problems...but no newslist (the lot to choose from).
