[newbie] Floppy drive mount problem
I am trying out Red Hat 6.0 and everything is greta except when I use the mount drive icon or the terminal to get to a floopy disk it tells me "mount /mnt/floppy 21" reported: mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/fd0, or too many mounted file systems. Any suggestions on how to fix this or maybe get a floppy and cd icon on the desk? Thanks. Payne __ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com

i was wondering what you all thought was the best C/C++ programming environment (compiler,linker,etc.). I was looking for something fairly user-friendly, where compiling and debugging return clear explanations of why they didn't work. I have tried Emacs and didn't really like it. Re: [[newbie] Thanks for RAM help]
To get Caldera, and every other Linux I assume, you add append = "mem=128M" to you lilo.conf witch is probably in your /etc directory, then go to a terminal window and typr /sbin/lilo , and finally reboot. If you already have an append statement, just put a space between the last thin in quotes and you mem=128M.
