If There are two different range ip adress in your ip network. You may use
diferent range. Actually, IP alias has been used for in this cases. it
doesn't right the same range ip adress on the one NIC. What is your
objective usage of ip alias?Because some special applications may prefer the
same range...

[newbie] KDE's buttons and shourtcuts dont work...

Hi,

I don't know what I have done but now, My KDE's buttons and shortcuts don't
work. I reinstalled KDE's rpm. But nothing changed. I can use "Execute
command ", "display properties", "logout" etc.. I have Mandrake 6.0. 

Does anyone know how I can fix it...

OK all you Linux experts. Heres a goody for ya.

Im trying to setup a server for my car club. We got a nice Dual Pentium
pro 166mhz w/1meg cahe each. It has a Adaptec 7880 with a cdrom and tape
drive attached to it. The DAC960 has 4 sygate 4gig drives aranged inb a
raid 0.

The Problem is I can start the install and it finds the adaptec controller
but when I tell it to add the DAC960 it cant find it. How do I load the os
if it cant find the drives on the raid comntroller?

[newbie] mouse shape...

Hi all,

First, Sorry my English is bad. There is a problem about mouse in the
XWindow. Mouse's shape likes this: ( such as barcod lines.. )

But I can use it in Xwindow. I tried to correct using mouseconfig prg. and
Xconfigurator prg. but I couldn't. I use KDE and have Mandrake 6.0.My kernel
is 2.2.19- 19mdk.
