I have tried E but i didnt like it too much.  I have
browsed for alternatives and i like the look of
Fluxbox, its installed just not configured.  I guess i
am just too darn picky.

[newbie] rpmdrake issue

I am having issues where rpmdrake (Software Sources
Manager) will not update when i add/delete something
AND it closes when i hit the Remove button.

So i have found the /etc/urpmi/urpmi.cfg files and
removed the lines that i didnt want.  They are not
listed anymore.  The problem that i still have is i
dont know the specific syntax that i need for adding
an update source.  I have the following:
-update_source
-ftp://ftp.wtfo.com/pub.linux/mandrake/updates
-../base/hdlist.cz
but i do not know how to put that in the urpmi.cfg
file.

Any thoughts?

[newbie] Xine hangs up after goiing through the tutorial

MDK9, updated and all.
I went though this tutorial before finding it on MDK's
site:

BUTWhen i click on the NAV button like it states
to Xine hangs an i have to kill it.
Any thoughts?

 So it's safe to assume that you've rerun
 mousedrake and all that jazz,
 right?

I am using a MS Optical usb/ps2 mouse attached to an
Apex Outlook KVM when i installed MDK9.  Once i got it
installe i used mousedrake and selected the generic
ps2 wheel mouse and clicked OK, after that anything
that i did with the mouse it would go to the upper
right corner and just start shaking.  I changed the
config file for X11 and nogo.  Any thoughts on how to
get the wheel working?

 If you have xine-dvdnav installed from
 the Mandrake CDs
 you could try xine -pq -s DVD dvdnav:// from the
 command line.

Ok, If you saw my JUST poste Xine after tutorial
install issue it actually comes up and plays.  ONLY
after a good 5 minute thing of where it looks up the
