Works ok in b/w, color support is in development.

You got a typo in your link there; should be http://www.httptech.com/ppa

The ppa driver works as you said just in bw for the moment, but there's
a color driver in development. Currently in alpha stage I think, but I've
tried it out with my 720c and it prints ok.

[newbie] Mandrake 6.0 - LILO problems

After upgrading from Mandrake 5.3 to 6.0 LILO fails to update.

I'm getting the following error message when I run lilo; 
VGA mode presetting is not supported by your kernel"

This results in that I'm not able to update my kernel after compiling...

I tried the command  "make emu10k1" but that bombed out with some error
msg - sorry, didn't write it down.

Try with just "Make". That worked for me.
