[newbie] cannot remove files
mdk 9.1 and reiserfs I tried to compile gtk+ and failed, so I decided to remove the extracted source files folder, but this appeared: [EMAIL PROTECTED] install]# rm -rf gtk+-2.2.1/ rm: cannot remove gtk+-2.2.1//docs/reference/gtk/xml/gtkscrolledwindow.xml: Permission denied rm: cannot remove gtk+-2.2.1//docs/reference/gtk/xml/gtkselection.xml: Permission denied rm: cannot remove gtk+-2.2.1//docs/reference/gtk/xml/gtkruler.xml: Permission denied rm: cannot remove gtk+-2.2.1//docs/reference/gtk/xml/gtkscale.xml: Permission denied rm: cannot remove gtk+-2.2.1//docs/reference/gtk/xml/gtkseparatormenuitem.xml: Permission denied rm: cannot remove gtk+-2.2.1//docs/reference/gtk/xml/gtkscrollbar.xml: Permission denied And I can't even chmod and ls these files, so I don't know how to deal with them.
