Roman === Hey Roman, Don't bet a lung (or any other body parts :o) ), but I think "failsafe" is similar to windows "safe mode". It's a "limited" boot that will allow you in w/o full functionality, to fix what might be broken. Hi Mike, If I bet a body part or held my breath, I would have died a long time ago...n'yuk..n'yuk. I think, when all else fails, 'Failsafe' allows the user to run in basic text mode when the GUI end dies. And, edit the necessary files, and get the graphical end up and running.
